Here it is Monday afternoon and I’m struggling to keep it together for at least a few more hours.  The 22nd annual NoteWorthy Convention was held in Las Vegas this past weekend, and although I thought it went remarkably well, I always come home completely exhausted.  Of course, a combined 11 hours of sleep over three nights didn’t help my current condition.

I love Las Vegas, and I love the NoteWorthy Convention.  I met so many great new people to the industry, and was able to reconnect with the old guard who have been, in many cases, around since the first convention.  The speaker sessions were informative, the debate was lively, and the majority of attendees seemed to be more focused on the business and networking opportunities (vs. the distractions of Las Vegas), than in years past.

To everyone who stopped me in the hallway or shared a drink at the bar with me, thank you.  People, after all, are what make the convention great.  Attitudes are infectious, and most people I spoke with were positive, affirming, and excited about the business.  Coming from someone with 15 years in the biz, you simply don’t know how refreshing that is to see.

A shout-out also goes to all our sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers.  Thanks to you all – you make the convention possible.  Finally, a huge and heartfelt thank you to Linda Marchi and Hank Harenberg.  You endure so much to ensure the rest of us have a memorable experience each and every year.  I can’t thank you enough for your contributions to this convention.
